Exciting News from the Workshop

The last few months have been really hectic here at the workshop; BBW was a HUGE success.  Thanks to everyone who attended and stopped by the table to see Stella, Red and Morgan.  

If you missed us at BBW, have no fear….The lovely Stella will be vending at the FMS Tropical Beach Party this coming weekend!!  

We have been updating the website the past few weeks and are THRILLED to announce that we have ADDED a few new implements to our Austere English Collection.  Here’s a sneak preview (shopping cart/items will be available on Friday June 1st):

The London Tanners Belt

The London Tanners 12th Anniversary belt was SUCH a success, and we continue to get requests for them so we’ve decided to add a belt to our range!  We are pleased to introduce our NEW London Tanners Belt. These belts will be made in the same Rich Dark Tobacco Brown as the rest of our Austere English Collection, but unlike the 12th anniversary belt, they will NOT have “12″ stamped on them.

Extreme Loopy Johnny

Yes,  just when you thought the Loopy Johnny was more than your bottom could handle, The London Tanners has now made an EXTREME Loopy Johnny!! This is made the same as the original Loopy Johnny but made with a 4 plait braided loop!

Extra Heavy Tawses

We are very pleased to offer both our Lochgelly and Glasgow Tawses in Extra Heavy;  these tawses are made of heavy, supple buffalo hide over 10 mm thick. These Tawses are not for the faint of heart!

LONDON TANNERS HEADING TO BBW!!

Just a tease of what will be available at BBW.

We have just shipped large container full of implements for BBW. Due to the overwhelming response last year to The London Tanners “Austere English Collection”, we have shipped many more items for this year!! However, due to the constraints of international shipping, although we have sent more, there is still a limited amount of stock.  

If there are items you particularly want, we would advise you to get to The London Tanners table at the vendor faire early or you may be disappointed. Last year we sold out everything in less than 3 hours!  We cannot reserve items for people (unless you have already ordered/paid for them and we have already put them in our shipment for you to pick up at the table), so it is really on a first come basis.

Team Ian for The London Tanners at Boardwalk Badness this year consists of Stella, NYIrish Red and Morgan. Please go up and say hello to them. Alas Kay and I cannot be there in person this year (really disappointed), but hope to see many of you in Spain October. You know we will be thinking of you all We are also not sure which, if any other US events we will be vending at this year, due to commitments in Europe. 

We know you all will have a really great party as Jules, Mike, Miranda and Mike S plus the whole SSNY crew do a fantastic job to insure this is a party you will never forget. Be nice to them as it is very stressful to put on a party of this size. And above all, have a great spanking time in Atlantic City!!

Hello Kinky friends!!  No, The London Tanners has not fallen off the face of the earth.  Quite the contrary we have been wonderfully busy here at the workshop.  Our  12^th  Anniversary year has really started off with a bang!!  We want to again thank all of you for putting The London Tanners on your “must have” list these past years.  It has been an honour for us to provide you with the very best disciplinary implements you can find.

And we love all the pics some of you have sent us over the years showing us how well our implements are working during your attempts to correct the behaviour of all those naughty bottoms. Luckily there are so many of them, we are hoping to stay busy for years to come…LOL.  Here are a couple of pics of some of our friends using our implements:

And thought you might like to see some of the implements we used to make in the earlier days.  Many of you will probably remember some of them and still have these favourite implements in your toy bag:

In addition to our online orders, we have been busy vending at some our favourite parties here in the UK.  We’ve been to the Ouch Party in Jan.  Nick and Natasha have an AWESOME venue and the party is a huge success.  We attended Romford in Feb, where Graham and Suzy organize a party every couple of months; great spanking fun with lots of friendly people.  And we have just attended the Kent Party this past weekend.  It was beautiful outdoors this time and we all enjoyed being able to play outside.   Thanks for all those who stopped by our table during these events, and to all those we met, chatted with and had the pleasure of playing with during these parties.

We are also working hard here at the workshop, getting ready for the beginning of the “spanking season” in the US (our friends here in the UK laugh when we call it that).  Our first major party in the USA is of course the wonderfully awesome BBW party on April 27 to April 29^th, 2012. Team Ian will be in full swing (no pun intended), so stop by the table and say hello to our lovely and beautiful Stella, Sexy Red and Stir the pot Morgan. Team Ian is very excited about seeing everyone again this year!!

Please remember, like last year, we are unable to reserve/hold back items for anyone.  We send a large amount of stock to Stella, but in order to be fair to everyone, items sold at the vendor fair is first-come-first-serve. So if you want a specific item please pre-order/buy now online and we’ll ship it with the regular party stock, or come to the table EARLY.

We are still working out the logistics of Team Ian attending the FMS party in June, CM in July and SL in Sept.  We’ll update everyone as soon as we have worked out the details.

We are THRILLED we will be hosting our first INTERNATIONAL PARTY in Spain on October 19^th-21^st, 2012.  The World Spanking Party is moving along VERY NICELY so far.  We already have more than 75 people registered for their place at the party!!

It is going to be an AWESOME international spanking gala, with people coming from Australia, Canada, the USA, Denmark, Germany, Ireland, the UK, Norway, the Netherlands and Spain.  We are very excited to be putting together so many spankos from all over the world into one private villa for a weekend of sun, sangrias and spanking!!

The food, drink and entertaining events are all set (well, we still have a couple of events to surprise you with in the coming months).   If you want to be part of the first international spanking weekend, go to our website and register now before it’s full!!  We promise you that it will be a weekend you will never forget!!

Our Latest Trip to Spain

We are finally back, unpacked and settled back into reality after our AWESOME post-christmas trip to Spain.  The weather was phenomenal, with 20-23C (68-72F) temperatures, sunny skies and mild winds the entire 5 days!! Although it was a working vacation, we had plenty of ”couple” time, and really enjoyed just sitting by the coast, shopping (Did I mention that I finally found/bought a beautiful new pair of Red stilettos?), having a few (or more) drinks and enjoying our time together.

Besides all the sun and fun, we did manage to complete a little business for the World Spanking Party 2012.  We met with Mark, our events coordinator, and Mark and Noell, our caterers to go over the food and logistics of behind the scenes stuff for the party.  So we have now confirmed the Flamenco Dancers and Spanish Guitar player and have the wine and sangria ordered for the Friday and Saturday dinners.  We should have the final  menus posted soon!!

Then to make the weekend plans EVEN BETTER, our friends Emma and Polo, owners of Once Upon a Time, agreed to close their restaurant Thursday nite so that we could have a private party, meet and greet for our spanko friends.  They were so excited about the party that every time we went in to eat (which was practically everyday), they would bring out little platters of food/desserts for us to try.  We are quite sure their final menu will be DELICIOUSLY WONDERFUL!! 

Most nights, before retiring for the evening (well it was usually 3am, but…..) we’d stop by our favourite bar, The Buddha Bar. Jaan de Kappa is the friendly owner/bartender.  The place is filled with atmosphere with the walls and bar decorated with Elvis and Buddhas…. It’s a small, warm place, tucked away on a side road off the main street area (but right around the corner from Once Upon a Time).  Every time we go, the bar is full of people of every nationality.  We all enjoy drinking and trying to talk to each other is some common language (or combination of languages).  We have met people from Russia, Italy, Spain, UK, and the US there.  We love the place so much and enjoy Jaan’s and his drinks (he pours a HEAVY drink…. ), that we asked him to run a bar at our party villa.  We are Thrilled that he agreed to run a bar on Friday and Saturday nite at the party villa.

And another awesome thing…..when we told them what type of party it was, they didn’t even bat an eye!!  Let me tell you, after our meetings We are SOOOOO EXCITED all over again!!

We also spent some time in Benalmedena city center, just to enjoy the local area away from the beach.  While we were there they were celebrating Three Kings Day, so the city was still decorated.  Apparently, Spain is known for its fiestas; it’s said that there is some sort of fiesta in some city/village in Spain every day of the year!!  They are certainly friendly, laid-back people, so maybe partying IS good for you!!

As our trip was winding down, we enjoyed a couple of wonderful views and sunsets.  Palm 5 is another wonderful little restaurant/bar right on the beach and has a stunning view of the sea.  We enjoyed watching the birds flying on/off the rocks and listening to the waves…

We were sad when we had to leave, but it was a fun and productive trip.  We can’t wait to share it with all of you when you come to the party.
